Sani is one of the Loloish languages spoken by the Yi people of China.
The Sani [sa˨˩ni˨˩] call themselves [ni˨˩]. Their language is distinct from Samei, whose speakers call themselves Sani [sa˨˩ni˥˧]. (Ethnologue 2009)
